Hello August!
This month’s inspiration comes from Women’s Month here in SA, as well as a trip to Franschhoek in August a few years back - I can’t wait to travel there again soon! The 9th of August is a national holiday here, we celebrate the strength and resilience of women - particularly the 20,000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 to protest the Apartheid Pass Laws. So this month, take some time to celebrate and appreciate the women in your life - and if you are one, I hope you celebrate your womanhood and give yourself some extra love and grace.
We are so ready for winter to be over, and welcome the warmer weather that sometimes shows it’s face in this very windy month!
